Well hello there! It’s been awhile, my apologies, I’ve been moving across the country….but…I’m excited to be back and have a ton of new ideas and a new creative space to break in! (maybe I’ll do a new studio tour when everything is put away and pretty…because we know that won’t last long!) Today I’m happy to announce a new super quick quilt pattern using Christmas Delivery by Carta Bella for Riley Blake Designs.
Hey Y’all! A few weeks ago I was asked to take part in another Penny Rose Fabrics blog tour. This quilt is for Gerri Robinson of Planted Seed Designs very first line for Penny Rose called Faded Memories. It’s a rich mix of reds, blues, and neutrals that all come together to make a very classic and luscious combination. You may be thinking, uh oh, she’s going to show us a very traditional quilt with lots of separate cuts and lots of yardage…that just isn’t like Crystal. Never fear we’re going to slice up a Rolie Polie in our usual studio fashion. As always, I have a YouTube tutorial for you as well as photos to follow along.
What do you say? Let’s get started.
Finished Size – 48″ x 60″
Thank you so much for giving my blog a look! I know I’m very inconsistent in posting, but I have some really great things planned so you should start to see more things in the coming weeks. It has been raining cats & dogs here this weekend thanks in part to Hurricane Patricia so it has given me more of an excuse to be inside working on projects.
Are y’all excited for this one? I know the recipient (baby Wyatt) loves it…or so his mom says ;). I do know, however, that his mom liked it and that’s really what matters. What do ya say? Let’s get started! (PS sorry for the parking lot photo…I spaced taking a photo before mailing!)
